Quatuor Danel season ticket
The Quatuor Danel was founded in 1991 and has been at the forefront of the international music scene ever since.
Season Ticket Information - 2024/25 Subscription packages
There are three subscription packages available for 2024/25 that offer excellent value with fantastic discounts:
- Package 1 – COMPLETE SEASON:
- The main offer comprises entry to five ticketed Quatuor Danel concerts, including the Stoller Hall concert on March 2025.
- This package includes one Wednesday evening concert on 20 November 2024 as well as the concert at The Stoller Hall (Chetham’s School of Music) on 28 March 2025.
- All other concerts are held on Friday evenings in the Cosmo (MHC).
- Package 2 – FLEXI-4:
- The second offer available comprises of entry to the Stoller Hall concert on 28 March 2025, plus three ticketed Quatuor Danel concerts, of your choice.
- This package allows you to choose to opt in or out of the Wednesday evening concert offer on 20 November 2024.
- Package 3 – COSMO SEASON:
- The third and final offer is entry to all four ticketed concerts, taking place is the beautiful Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall.
- This package includes all Friday concerts as well as the Wednesday concert in the Cosmo (MHC) only. No other venues are included in this package.
All packages allow you to reserve your seat of choice for evening ticketed concerts at the Martin Harris Centre (subject to availability).
If you purchase one of the package offers, you will be invited to the following three events:
- Friday 13 December 2024, 6.30pm: Festive drinks reception with mulled wine and minced pies.
- Friday 14 February 2025, 6.30pm: As the MHC Friday evening season draws to a close, celebrate and discuss the season’s highlights with other season ticket subscribers.

Concert venue and seating information
Most of the Danel’s concerts will take place in the Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall at the Martin Harris Centre. The final Friday evening concert of the season will be held in the Stoller Hall at Chetham’s School of Music, here in Manchester.
Please note there is reserved seating for all Wednesday and Friday evening concerts at the MHC. There is also reserved seating at The Stoller Hall. Seating for all Thursday lunchtime concerts is free seated and unreserved.
Important information for Season ticket holders: If you add The Stoller Hall concert to your subscription package, then seats will be allocated and shown on your ticket. Tickets should please be collected from The Stoller Hall box office on the day of the concert.
How to book
- Tickets can be ordered, or season tickets renewed, in advance by post. Please make cheques payable to ‘The University of Manchester’.
- Include your name, address, phone number, performance details and tickets required, plus a cheque made payable to ‘The University of Manchester’ and post to: MHC Reception (G32), Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama, The University of Manchester, Bridgeford Street (off Oxford Road), Manchester, M13 9PL.
- Tickets can be purchased from Quaytickets, at the Lowry Theatre box office, in advance of the event (including season ticket renewals).
- Tickets can be purchased from box office on the day of the event (including season ticket renewals), from one hour before the start of the performance.
- Payments can be made by card or contactless.
- Our ticket partners Quaytickets have a 24/7 website that allows you to make secure payments to book your tickets online. Visit www.quaytickets.com or call Quaytickets on 0343 208 0500. The phonelines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm; Saturday 10am to 8pm; and Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
- Please note that Quatuor Danel new season tickets can be bought online with Quaytickets. However, it is not possible to renew season tickets in this way.
- Whether purchasing online, over the phone or in person, no booking fees apply. However, a single transaction fee of between £1.25 will be levied at the point of purchase.
- Customers can choose electronic tickets, collection from the MHC box office or can pay a postage fee to have their tickets printed and posted to them. The MHC Box Office cannot process cash payments and we are unable to take card payments over the phone, by post or email.
