The Martin Harris Centre has a close relationship with The University of Manchester student societies and the Students’ Union, in particular the Music and Drama societies.

Music Society
Anyone can join Manchester University Music Society (MUMS) and, typically, around 500 people (mainly students) sign-up each year. The main priority of the society is to provide its members with a large variety of performing opportunities to suit their standard, commitment and tastes.

The University of Manchester Drama Society prides itself on its inclusive nature, high standards of talent and friendliness. This society is for anyone with an interest in drama, be that acting, directing, writing, film making, costume, set building, stage managing or just watching.
