The Quatuor Danel was founded in 1991 and has been at the forefront of the international music scene ever since.
Season Ticket Information - 2025/26 Subscription packages
The Season Ticket Subscription Package for 2025-26 offers excellent value with a fantastic discount.
The Season Ticket allows entry to all four ticketed concerts in the beautiful Cosmo Rodewald Concert Hall. Dates of which are: 10 Oct 2025, 12 Nov 2025, 5 Dec 2025 and 8 May 2026.
N.B. This package includes: a Wednesday evening concert on 12 November; a concert featuring students from Chetham’s School of Music on 5 Dec; and a Beat the Rush Hour Concert on 8 May.
Cosmo Season prices are: £46 (full); and £32 (concessions), offering over a 30% discount.
The package includes the following:
- Reserve your seat of choice for ticketed concerts at the Martin Harris Centre (subject to availability).
- Festive drinks reception on Friday 5 December 2025, 6.30pm. Enjoy some festive cheer with other subscribers. Mulled wine and mince pies served.

How to book
- Tickets can be ordered, or season tickets renewed, in advance by post. Please make cheques payable to ‘The University of Manchester’.
- Include your name, address, phone number, performance details and tickets required, plus a cheque made payable to ‘The University of Manchester’ and post to: MHC Reception (G32), Martin Harris Centre for Music and Drama, The University of Manchester, Bridgeford Street (off Oxford Road), Manchester, M13 9PL.
- Tickets can be purchased from Quaytickets, at the Lowry Theatre box office, in advance of the event (including season ticket renewals).
- Tickets can be purchased from box office on the day of the event (including season ticket renewals), from one hour before the start of the performance.
- Payments can be made by card or contactless.
- Our ticket partners Quaytickets have a 24/7 website that allows you to make secure payments to book your tickets online. Visit www.quaytickets.com or call Quaytickets on 0343 208 0500. The phonelines are open Monday to Friday, 9am to 8pm; Saturday 10am to 8pm; and Sunday, 10am to 6pm.
- Please note that Quatuor Danel new season tickets can be bought online with Quaytickets. However, it is not possible to renew season tickets in this way.
- Whether purchasing online, over the phone or in person, no booking fees apply. However, a single transaction fee of between £1.25 will be levied at the point of purchase.
- Customers can choose electronic tickets, collection from the MHC box office or can pay a postage fee to have their tickets printed and posted to them. The MHC Box Office cannot process cash payments and we are unable to take card payments over the phone, by post or email.
